Sunny Arora
Dr. Arora has an experience of more than 11 years that straddles across corporate and academics. He has completed his Ph.D. from SJMSOM, IIT Bombay, MBA from NMIMS, Mumbai and B.Sc.(H) in Physics from Hansraj College, Delhi University. He has conducted corporate trainings for Zycus Infotech, Tata Motors and AstraZeneca Pharma India. He has to his credit articles published in top International journals such as Journal of Brand Management. He has presented his research at various conferences, such as at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Lucknow amongst others.
Srivatsan Lakshminarayan
Dr. Srivatsan Lakshminarayan, PhD, ACA, CFA is a Professor in Accounting and Finance. He is also an academic member with the Centre for Financial Studies (CFS) at SPJIMR. Srivatsan completed his doctorate in 2018 from the School of Finance and Management, SOAS University of London in the area of accounting. While at SOAS, he was awarded a doctoral scholarship for the academic years 2013-14 to 2015-16. He also worked subsequently as a member of staff and held the position of Assistant Professor in accounting from 2016 to 2018.
Kamal Sharma
Dr Kamal K Sharma is a graduate in chemical engineering from the Indian institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, with a post-graduate diploma in industrial management from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of management Studies, Mumbai, and a Ph.D in economics from IIT, Mumbai. He has also completed an advanced management program from Harvard Business School, Boston. In a career spanning more than three decades, Dr. Sharma has held a range of senior management positions managing projects, corporate development and general management in the pharmaceuticals and chemicals industries
Sushmita Srivastava
Dr. Srivastava has more than 25 years of work experience in Tata Steel. A Ph.D. from XLRI in Human Resources Management, she has worked in various domains of HRM including Industrial Relations and Learning and Development. She is credited to have instituted the first Foreign Languages Learning Lab for the Corporate Executives in Tata Steel to support its global footprints. She has participated as a Senior Assessor for the Tata Business Excellence Model and has assessed large number of Tata Companies.
Hemant Kumar Manuj
I am an Associate Professor in the Finance Area at SPJIMR. I teach specialised courses in Finance on Investments, Derivatives, and Risk Management. Prior to this I have worked in the industry over over two decades in various areas in leading financial institutions in India. I have worked in the areas of Securities regulation, Fund Management, Equity research, Risk Management, Loan Portfolio Management, and Stressed Assets prediction and resolution. I am a B.Tech from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad and an Associate of the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India.
Chandrika Parmar
Dr. Chandrika Parmar is an Associate Professor at SPJIMR.
She has a DPhil in Management Studies from Said Business School, University of Oxford. She started as a political scientist but pluralised her disciplinary moorings a while ago.
Swapnajit Chakraborti
Dr. Swapnajit Chakraborti is a full-time professor of Information Management at SPJIMR, Mumbai. Professor Chakraborti's primary expertise and interest is in the area of business analytics including text mining, data mining, artificial intelligence, machine learning, predictive analytics, big data and various techniques for knowledge discovery in databases. He also teaches courses on e-Commerce, applications of ICT for social transformation and involved in various MDP curriculum development and teaching/consulting/research for business analytics at the institute.
Preeta George
She has completed her PhD from BITS, Pilani, her post graduation from Mumbai university and bachelors degree from St Xavier’s college, Mumbai.
She first joined SPJIMR in 2002, went to SP Jain Global School from 2013 to 2016 as Dean of MGB and then came back to SPJIMR in 2017.
She has over 27 years of teaching experience teaching MBA students and middle and senior management executives.
She is the Professor of Economics and the Chairperson of PGEMP.
