The objective of PGP-GM is to create versatile executives with a strong base of functional knowledge and a general management perspective.
By virtue of the design and pedagogy, at the end of the programme, a PGP-GM participant is expected to:
- Be proficient in basic functional managerial knowledge and skills
- Understand businesses in the domestic and global context
- Have integrative knowledge usable in real life situations
- Have an analytical approach and sound decision making abilities
- Demonstrate leadership skills with social sensitivity
Our unique TLAP Model
While most executive education programmes begin and end in the classrooms - Teaching and Learning, PGP-GM adds two additional steps – Application (applying classroom learning to own job context) and Project (formulating a major project for the company).
The programme has a strong application focus and in addition to periodic exams, it requires participants to apply the knowledge imparted in the classroom to their company's context through several Application Assignments.
