Undoubtfully very insightful article. Often when we get trapped into daily life one needs to be aware of his mental health. Nowadays, many people experience stress as they manage busy lives and the burdens of study and work while trying to save time for friends and family. Stress, over a prolonged period of time, can increase certain mental and health risks, especially Depression. People usually think that causes of depression are negative, such as an exhausting work schedule or a rocky relationship. However, anything that puts high demands or forces individual to adjust can be stressful. This includes positive events such as getting married, buying a house, going to college, or receiving a promotion. It can also be self-generated, like when one worries excessively about something that may or may not happens. The signs and symptoms of depression can be almost anything.. Stress affects the mind, body, and behavior in many ways, and everyone experiences stress differently. Not only can overwhelming stress lead to serious mental and physical health problems, it can also take a toll on one’s relationships at home, work, and school, making the situation worse. The worst part is that people who experience excessive stress or go through depression often don’t realize that. And even when they do they hesitate to share it and get help because they are in the stage of denial. Acceptance is the step to embrace yourself and get out of depression. It is extremely important hence that one take professional help if they don't want to fall into the vicious circle.
