Centre of Education in Social Sector - CEdSS
One of the Asia's finest business schools, and amongst the leading business schools in India, SPJIMR has successfully and consistently translated its mission to Influence Practiceand Promote Value-based Growth, through pedagogic innovations and pioneering programmes.
SPJIMR runs its innovative initiatives and programmes through dedicated Centres of Excellence. One such prominent Centre of Excellence is the Centre for Education in the Social Sector (CEdSS). CEdSS was established in 2009 with a mandate to reach out to the sections of society that are usually not served by modern day B-Schools.
From the desk of the Chairperson, Professor Rukaiya Joshi
“The development sector has seen more changes in the last 10 years, an indication of times to come. New CSR rules have already generated higher consciousness in the corporate sector and at the same time raised pertinent questions on how to. There is a need for the corporates, NGOs, government and academia to come together, work on each one’s strength to enhance the social impact.”
SPJIMR’s centre of excellence, CEdSS was established in 2009 with the raison d’etre to specifically address the lacunae in the management needs of the rapidly growing Social Sector.
