Interviews take place throughout the admission cycle, from the month of February to August in the cities of Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Kolkata. The candidate, if short listed for the interview, would have the choice of opting for one of the interview venues.
Case Study Analysis and Group Discussion
Candidates are given a short essay/case to study and have to note down their points and/or solutions as per their comprehension and understanding of the given essay/case. Four-Five candidates are then grouped to further discuss the essay/case at hand and come up with unanimous solution/analysis.
Each candidate will go through at least two rounds of interviews in addition to the above.
The first round of interview is to understand the link between candidates’ chosen area of specialisation and their work experience. The second round of interview is to understand the candidate’s overall fit with the PGPM programme and with SPJIMR’s values and culture. The process seeks to delve in to the candidate’s future goals, personality aspects, and communication skills.
All of the above are conducted on the same day. Please note that the call for an interview is not a guarantee for admission to the PGPM programme. The final admission will be based upon the candidates’ work profile, performance during the interviews, past academic record, and performance in CAT/ XAT and GMAT exams. Further candidates, with a low CAT / XAT / GMAT score may be shortlisted and called for an interview. They have the opportunity to take the GMAT exam and submit the final score by Aug 31, 2020.
Declaration of final list
The final list of selected applicants is declared and the selected applicants receive an Email with details of the fee schedule and commencement of course.
